Our 4th Nomadiversary

4 years ago today, on July 17, 2015, we traded in life as we knew it and opted for living a different kind of life. We took a leap of faith, and moved our family into a 42’ 5th wheel with plans for adventure, homeschool, running our business, and very intentional living. This has worked out perfectly for us. We still absolutely love it!

We thought it would be fun to show “Then & Now” pictures of our rig. We have done quite a bit to make it our “home”. We bought our 2015 Forest River Sandpiper 365 SAQB brand new. We looked at tons of RVs, different layouts, etc., but we loved this layout. We loved the bunk room and the extra half bath for the kids. We knew that if this full-time RVing thing was going to work, the kids were going to have to have their space. 4 years in, we still love our Sandpiper. I’m not saying we haven’t had minor problems, but we do ask a lot of it. But, overall, it has held up pretty well. When we first got it, everything was BROWN…VERY BROWN. LOL! Over time, we have painted, changed out window coverings, bedding, couch, table, etc. to make it feel more “us”.

It’s really fun to look back at these photos. I hope you have enjoyed the little tour. It’s always fun to see how people decorate and utilize their space. It’s definitely lived in. If you ever visit us, the couch pillows will probably be a mess, beds will probably not be made, there may be dishes in the sink, laptops and charging cables out everywhere, but it’s home. 🙂 We wouldn’t have it any other way. We look forward making many more memories in Our Moving House!
