The Art of Collecting Moments

The featured image on this blog embodies my full heart.  It’s me…messy hair, no makeup, comfy clothes, and taking a lovely afternoon stroll with my beautiful family.  This is my life. How did I get so lucky?  As I was walking slightly behind them, checking out various seashells, birds, and watching the waves, my heart overflowed with joy on this very average day in a very extraordinary place.  I say it all the time, but I am a very blessed girl!

This has been the year of collecting moments.  My treasure chest is so full and it’s only March!  As I look back through my photos, there are several moments that I wish I could bottle up and keep forever.  I’d like to share them with you.  Here is the first part of our year in photos.  I wouldn’t trade this blessed life for anything!  If you scroll over each picture, the caption will appear.  It’s been really nice to spend the winter months close to family in Texas, but we look forward to new places soon!

So, I’m going to keep collecting.  I’m going to collect all of those little moments when we discover a new place, learn something new, step out in faith, share our faith, or simply stand in awe of God’s marvelous Creation, and I’m going to treasure them…forever.

Thanks for stopping by!  How is your treasure chest today?  What is it filled with?

Matthew 6:19-21  “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.  Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.”
